Fettuccelle, part of the broader Fettuccine family, trace their origins to central and southern Italy. Their flat, ribbon-like shape makes them an excellent match for a wide range of sauces. They pair beautifully with tomato-based preparations enriched with vegetables and aromatic herbs, as well as quick, flavorful sauces made with extra virgin olive oil, garlic, red pepper, anchovies, and capers.

Fettuccelle also complement shellfish and seafood sauces wonderfully, and they are equally delicious with creamy “white” sauces featuring cream, mascarpone, or soft cheeses, enhanced with spices such as saffron, horseradish, curry, or ginger.
